This does tie into lack of spirituality because when I ask for the Lord's help I am more successful in making changes.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28814903.post-76832300491217026472009-02-06T22:23:00.000-07:002009-02-06T22:23:00.000-07:00Brianna- I have been thinking of you and sad that ...Brianna- I have been thinking of you and sad that we lost touch so fast. It looks like us victorvalley girls have been doing so much since then. It would be fun to have a road trip to vegas and visit mommy Kandice. You, me and tasha should all go. It was pretty much just us up there and you all still mean alot to me. You were so fun, I miss your parties. So what city do you live in now? Good Luck at Womens Conference, you will do great!masonchrissyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08596078658175216135noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28814903.post-66305368167914258862009-02-02T14:55:00.000-07:002009-02-02T14:55:00.000-07:00Brianna- I am excited for you! I have to say that I think unbelief in myself (or my abilities) always stems from a lack of spirituality, or rather from not trusting in the Lord. When I completely put my will into His hands, I start to become the woman I have only dreamed of becoming. When I am unwilling to yield to the Lord's will, I get caught up in the millions of temptations that Satan puts out there to make us so that we don't accomplish anything; which are really all the things you listed. So when I believe that the Savior can help me, only then can I truly believe in myself. The truth is: None of us were meant to live life on our own and by our own abilities; we were designed to need heavenly help, which is necessary to humble us and keep us close to our Father.<BR/>Brianna- I wish I could attend, it sounds like it will be wonderful!Katehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17568132059150401423noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28814903.post-61384638196303760222009-02-02T13:57:00.000-07:002009-02-02T13:57:00.000-07:00Whoops, I guess I can't edit the poll once voting ...Whoops, I guess I can't edit the poll once voting has started, but if anyone else wants to vote for that one, please let me know!Briana @ Sweet Dreams are Made of Thesehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08557010255457014506noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28814903.post-937919117715967952009-02-02T13:54:00.000-07:002009-02-02T13:54:00.000-07:00Bethany,Thank you soo much for sharing that! I noticed this started happening once I got married and my priorities had to start shifting significantly. Then again (big time!) after having the baby. I feel like I have more and more to do and less energy/time to do it in, so I look at the way I look/spend time with my family/serve in my church callings/spend time with friends/do things for others/take care of myself etc. now and compare it with the way I did those things pre-marriage and baby. It's really hard to not feel like I've regressed in the areas that are most important! And then dwelling on the then vs. now just slows down progress even further! Having to be a working mom right now doesn't help but I have a feeling it wouldn't be radically different if I were a stay-at-home mom too...possibly just as demanding as a full-time job. :) I'm excited to see where your poll leads your session!Bethanyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06122821013237736719noreply@blogger.com
